IRRIS’ lore has many references to the Sea so far, so those references will be documented in this section and further expanded upon as more information about their lore is revealed.
As a reminder, Iris is also known as the god of the Sea and the Sky because Greek mythologists believed that the rainbow was a place of travel from the sky to the seas and vice versa.
In the music video for WANNA KNOW, Liv’s solo scenes are made in the bottom of a sinking ship. The members later dance there during the final chorus.
Each member was introduced on Instagram with an object, presumably teasing something about a comeback or lore in general. Yunseul was introduced with the animation of a seashell.
In the STAY WITH ME MV, the girls take a road trip along the coast in order to meet the sea. By the end of the music video, the girls are seen running to and away from the sea.
